New Rv'er watch out?

Purchased a 2004 Salem by Forest River 29+3 Travel Trailer, and would like to hear from anyone about their experiences with this model. It has a dry weight of 7580 w/superslide. I pull it with a 2004 Nissan Titan 4x4 w/Big Tow pkg, mfg states truck can pull 9200, it does well but would like the suspension of the truck to be a little stiffer. Have played with the weight distribution set-up several times but have not had much sucess on any differences. The Concertone stereo installed has 8 speakers, but sounds as if no bass at all, xbass button is on, does anybody know if it has a subwoofer installed and if so where? I have no owners manual so bear with me I may post lot's of questions. Any comments on anything would be appreciated.

Hello, 2tall.

Welcome to FRF.
The Concertone is basically problematic. Some work great, for a while. Others have gone bad from the start. To save yourself unwanted aggravation, you may want to replace the Concertone system with something compatible.

I recently came across a thread where someone replace their Concertone(aka, Concerjunk) with something else. I'll try to find the thread and post a link.

Enjoy the forums,

Welcome to the group 2tall and to the new RV.

You might want to check into a set of the Firestone Ride-Rite air springs for the rear of your truck. I used them on our last motorhome and they made a big difference. My coworker also used them on his F150 for pulling his 5er, really liked them.
