New RV'ers from North Texas

We have just purchased a Flagstaff Classic Super Lite 832BHIK trailer. We are picking it up next week and looking forward to our first outing(about an hour from home). We would appreciate any advice for first timers!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Flagstaff, Lee Family!
Lets see, about an hour from Plano, you going to Ray Roberts?
We are in Roanoke

My best advice, if you are going to travel on a Friday in the DFW area, do it as early as possible, like before 9AM!
My second best advice, don't worry about every little thing, no matter where you go, there is a wally world not too far away and they have just about anything you will need so if you forget something, no worries, have fun!

On long trips we leave all of the heavy stuff at home, canned goods, bottled/jugs water, milk etc and just go to the wally world near the CG and stock up there after we get all set up. Me Wife usually forgets something anyway so we are going to be there... LOL

Take plenty of pics of the rig all set up!

Welcome Lee family! Y'all are about to have some plano fun (sorry...couldn't resist). Where is your first outing going to be. We are trying to work our way further up north as we spread out. Just not this time of year! Yikes it's cold out there!

Hope to see ya down the road!
