New Sabre owners

DW and I signed the papers for a 2012 Sabre 34REQS - 6 yesterday. It'll replace our 2008 Jayco 314BHDS TT that we park on a seasonal site in Wisconsin. It's pretty tricked out with options and will be a factory build because we wanted the thermopane windows. Spent lots of time on the Jayco Owners Forum for the past 4 years. Looking forward to spending time here now. It's going to be a long 6 - 8 weeks.

I know how you feel. I signed for a REQS-6 three weeks ago. Also ordered the thermal pane windows. Should have it in about three more weeks. My first 5th wheel. Have had tents and pop-ups before. I'll be hauling it with a 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500HD crewcab with a 6.6 Duramax diesel with six speed Allison tranny, and also has an exhaust brake.

Ah Man!!!! I didnt know you could get thermopanes!!! We would have ordered our new rig with them. They were not listed in the options. We camp a lot in cold weather here in NW Pa. At least we did in our tent, Gonna be nice in a new rig

Hope y'all enjoy your Sabre as much as we have enjoyed ours these past 4 years. It's a great trailer and you're going to love it.

Thanks all. We actually visited our dealer Saturday so DW could go in the one we saw to measure for new throw rugs, etc. Don't know why we just can't use the rugs from our '08 TT . Made the waiting a little more bearable just sitting in it and trying to figure out how we'll use the space and where we'll put stuff.
