New Sandpiper owner

We are new to FR but are not new to RVing. We have owned 2 jayco's and a Triple E in the past.

We picked up our new Sandpiper 300BH on Friday from Michigan. We survived the 1000 mile trip home (in 1 day no less). On the way home we got a mysterious scratch on the passenger fender and 4 screws fell out of the fan so each blade is only holding on by 1 screw that is 1/2 threaded in. Other then that the trip was straightforward.

We bought the 300BH based primarily on floor plan and price secondary. It fits our needs almost to a tee. The only thing we would like is if it had a garden tub for our 2 year old.

We really like the look inside and out. I am a little disappointed with the attention to detail in the building but that will be in another thread in the Sandpiper section.

I look forward to many years of camping in our new FR FW.

Glad to have you in our group. I've had a Sandpiper for over three years and have enjoyed it thoroughly. So far only a couple of very minor problems. We tow it 1500 miles to Texas every winter and it will be starting out on its fourth trip in just about 3 months.

Thanks. The only real disappointment so far is that the floor feels quite soft over the air ducts. Not sure if I want them to tear into my floor or not.
