New Sanibel 3500 on order

Hello all. Joined the forum a few days ago, after lurking for a while. The DW and I ordered a new Sanibel 3500 from Tom Raper on March 12, 2013. Now we're setting around anxiously waiting. We are told to expect delivery towards the end of April.

I hope that they can hit that delivery timeframe- that's awfully quick for the RV manufacturer's busiest time of the year.

As the previous poster mentioned that's a pretty aggressive build date.

8 to 10 weeks is pretty standard this time of year.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Sanibel 3500. Like ependydad & Turbs said that's a pretty quick turn around time from your order to delivery at dealer.

You never know if Tom Raper has their own delivery/pickup folks. Maybe they're not a slave to the subcontract drivers...

Thanks for the welcome. I'm going to make sure the DW doesn't see this. She's already bugging me about how long it's taking to get "her" camper. ependydad, I asked the salesperson that exact question because I would have been willing to go to the factory and get it myself if it saved time. They have their own transport people.

I got thinking about it after I posted. I know that they're a pretty high volume dealer and aren't too far from Goshen, IN. It makes sense.
