New Silverback 29RL owners

Been a member of the open roads forum forever, but just found this one. We are the owners of a new Silverback 29 RL. Having sold our previous fifth wheel, a 2006 Sierra because the better half was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, we thought our camping days were over. We bought the silverback to live in near the Kansas City area while I work a couple of days per week. Im sure it will prove to be an interesting winter. We plan to purchase a 100# propane tank. It may end up costing so much to try to use the fifth wheel for lodging that we give up and winterize it. I figure it doesn't hurt to try and we can always hope for a very mild winter! Anyway......that's who we are, and I am sure I will be picking your brains soon.

My dad would put bails of straw around our field hands trailer in the winter to help with cold winds.

Will the RV park let you do any cold abatement. how about water to the 5'er. or sewer lines?? Midwest winters can be difficult.
