New Silverback 35QB4 Owners!
Howdy! New member. We are long time RV'ers, and are in the process of selling our latest TT, a Puma 30FQSS, and have just ordered a 2012 Cedar Creek Silverback 35QB4 "Silver Edition" - very excited about it, and can't wait to take delivery the first week of May, 2012!
Question: how and where do I find the cool "Where we've been" map avitar that several members have on the forums?
Cheers,

Congrats, We just ordered a 35QB4 as well, should be ready in 2 weeks. Really looking forward to it, My 2005 Sandpiper has been great, but kids are ready for a little more room in camper. Hopefully delivery in time to break it in over a Thanksgiving camping trip!

Thanks to everyone for their assistance with the States/Provinces visited information, especially Willis.

Need Advice
We are looking to buy a 35qb4, but need some advice about some options. We are going to get the outdoor kitchen so I know that it will affect the inside of the bunkhouse. We are trying to decide on whether or not to put a couch back there and on which side it should go. Also, what are the pros/cons to the air mattress pull-out couch vs. the fold-down? We could potentially have 4-5 kids back there put we also want a comfortable option for adults.
If any of you have little kids, is there a benefit to ordering the booth dining area vs. the table and chairs? And...is there an option to get a "garden tub" for the kids to sort of take a bath in?
Sorry...first Fifth wheel. Lots of questions.

Hello, I can tell you the philosophy I used to decide. Seems like we have similar situations. We went with the outside kitchen which basically makes you lose about a foot and a half from the bunkhouse right side bottom bunk only, well worth it in my opinion. The top bunk and the complete left slide are the same with or without the outside kitchen. We have the two top bunks, and on the bottom of the bathroom side we have the fold down couch, and on the left slide we have the air mattress couch. We have two boys 12 and 14, and with this arrangement they each have their own couch to lie on when watching TV or video games (no fighting). Also the air mattress is awesome, much more comfortable than the old style pull out beds. It seems very sturdy and the mattress is thick and durable. I hope it lasts and does not get a hole which is my only fear with any air mattress. The air mattress couch can pull out to sleep two adults comfortably and the pull out couch can fully extend at the same time...With the outside kitchen you can't have two air mattress beds(not enough room to fully extend both of them at the same time. The pull out couch could sleep two but they would be cozy, smaller kids would be better if you had to double up on that couch. Also both top bunks have a double mattress so if you have a ton people to sleep you can pull one of the mattresses down on the floor(of course you can't do this if you pull the air mattress out. So I can sleep 6 back there easily...If you want to have an adult couple back there definitely go with the air mattress couch on the left slide(it can’t fit on the outside kitchen side because it will block the entrance to the rear bathroom from the bunkroom. On the outside kitchen slide bottom you could go with either the bunk or fold down couch no huge difference I can see here. With, the bottom bunk you do need to lift it up and pin in to not get in the way of the rear bathroom entrance though.....I hope I am not going on to long but one other important note, if you go with the air mattress on the right hand slide you lose the storage compartment (under the bunk or pull out couch) and the exterior access door to this storage area.
With the older kids we went with table and chairs. We started getting pretty cramped in the booth and the table and chairs allow us to spread out and get comfortable. Also easier to all watch a movie in the living room with 6 people. The down side is losing the storage under the booths.
Have not seen anything about a tub in this Floor Plan.
Hope this was helpful, Good Luck

Getting it Friday!!!
Thank you so much for your response. Very helpful info and we did consider everything you shared. Ended-up that the dealer show model price just couldn't be beat. So we will be getting our 2012 explorer edition outside kitchen silverback 35qbh on Friday! Settled with the Jackknife couch on the driver side with lower bunk on the curb side in the bunk house. Also came with the 4 chair dinette. Overall ended-up being perfect for us! The dinette gives the extra seating and with very little ones (4 & 2) the bunks are great. Having the air mattress couch in the living area will give us adult space with all the little kiddos in the back! PERFECT!!! We also have the fireplace, king bed and upgraded to a 40" tv. Plus how can you beat the outdoor fridge? Beer space!
We priced compared the cedar creek 35qbh and really do think the silverback is equally as high quality for fewer dollars. Can't beat it!
Thanks again for your detailed response. It was very helpful. I hope you enjoy all our camping adventures as much as I know we will ours in our new silverback 35qbh!
