Yes we love the camper, just big enough for the 2 of us plus a couple of guests (preferably staying in their own tent/camper). The new TV I'm working on is probably a bit bigger than we really need, but we want to bring our canoe (old Grumman aluminum 17 footer) and bikes along too so I think the extra HP will be needed.

glad you've decided to make a change before something happened.

if you don't mind me asking, did the dealer say "Sure, you'll be fine towing this trailer with your Ranger!"?

Everyone (dealer, friends who are experienced TT owners, etc.) said "You'll be pushing the limits but you'll be ok". Had anyone told us "no you idiot, you need a bigger truck", we'd have upgraded before delivery. No big deal.

This stuff is never as easy as it should be, right?

New wrinkle in the story: when I bought my Ranger, the dealer screwed up the odometer reading on the title and knocked 600 miles off from when they got it at auction, so now Autocheck reports an odometer discrepancy. Fortunately the dealer I'm working with on the F150 is helping me sort it all out, but it's going to take a few extra days, forcing us to cancel this weekend's reservation. Ah well, it was a place we've camped several times at before and had no water/electric at the site anyway, the only plus was it was a pull through.

Congratulations on the new trailer. We are also from Orland Park and are waiting for delivery of our Roo any day now. Which dealer did you get it from? We have ours coming from House of Camping.

Couple of long-awaited photos:

All set up on the shakedown trip

New TV upgrade we just picked up last night. Checking the fit on the Equal-i-zer after work tonight, if no adjustments are needed we might take 'er out for the weekend.
