Yeah unfortunately I'd suggest upgrading the tv.
Can you use a friends properly equipped truck to get it home at least?

Probably, but I know the wife will want to take it out immediately. I've been searching for a new TV all morning, I'll have a new one before it's ready to pick up.

Means it properly set up for towing and generally has a hitch installed as well as the trailer plug in as well as possibly a integrated brake controller if it's a late model unit.

if you find one you like please post up the specs.

3.73 gearing a+ I think it may be a little pricey, But I don't know market down your way. What is the payload? If you google you should be able to find.

To answer question I would be inclined to say yes it will be a lot better than your Envoy

Just an fyi you'll almost always run out of payload before any other rating.
The payload number is on the door jamb sticker with the tire info.

I'm at work, so I was just browsing quickly to get an idea of what's out there, but now I know I'll definitely need to replace the envoy and upgrade to a full size truck. Once I settle on a couple I'll update ya'll and we can find one that will fit is needs and budget. Thanks!
