New to Camper life!

Howdy! I've been perusing the forums for a few days now and figured I'd better introduce myself so if I don't find answers to questions I'm probably going to have that at least I've given an introduction!

I've done plenty of camping in the last 25 years, but all tent camping. I've helped out a bit with the ex-in-laws TT setup and tear down, but never owned one. Tent camping has always been one of my favorite pastimes, however the older I get, the more work it seems to be. I don't rough it by any means, I have large 6 foot tents with the double high air mattresses and other creature comforts. I like setting up a base camp and exploring the area. Anyway...

In a few weeks my significant other and I will be purchasing a FR Cherokee Patriot Edition 274VFK. I've been looking at TT's for a couple of years now and am finally fulfilling a bucket list item and purchasing it, we are both excited to say the least!! I think this will be a great starter camper for us.

Anyway, excited to learn from many of the seasoned folks here and looking forward to becoming a seasoned TT owner myself! Cheers!!

Welcome to the forum from the state of Missouri. Always good to hear from other campers. My wife and I always used our camper for camping and traveling so we had the best of both worlds.
There are lots of good ideas on here and a good place to come for information or ideas or how to make repairs.
Safe travels to you and happy camping.

Welcome from Huntsville, AL. Congrats on the new Cherokee! We think you will find the RV lifestyle a tad more comfortable than tent camping (regardless of setup )
