New to camper life!

Hello all -
We're excited to be a part of a new family of outdoor living. We just bought our first camper, a 2011 Forest River Rockwood HW296, and we're REALLY looking forward to breaking it in. With four boys, aging 7-12, and having tent-camped since they were all babies, we can't wait to start the next chapter. This site looks to be outstanding, with all the very helpful people, so we really look forward to the experience!

Welcome.. and congratulations!! F.R.O.G.'s are pretty good folk. Don't ever hesitate to ask questions.. no matter how trivial. We've all been there.

By way of suggestion, you might consider doing a little driveway camping before you hit the road. It'll give you a chance to play with your new toy and identify any issues that need to be addressed.

~ Cheers

This is a great and oft overlooked suggestion. It also helps you to identify those things you may want/need that you just don't think about.
Happy Camping
