Welcome to the forum from the state of Missouri. Enjoy your New 2017 gulfstream Conquest 274qb. It will be a few more months before I unwrap my RV, but I think of it often. Take care in your travels.

Welcome...

Are you asking for help to find a spot to go camping?

Are you looking now to get out of the winter weather? Or are you waiting for warmer weather? What area of the country are you looking for spots to get to? Are you looking for something close by?

I suggest you do some driveway camping for a few nights to get a feel for your camper. Use as many things in the camper as you can while close to home to become familiar with them and to give you a chance to fix whatever goes wrong before being out on the road.

You can purchase an adapter for your 30A or 50A RV connector so you can plug into you house electric. As long as you don't turn on too much electric at any one time, you can use what we call "shore power" to electrify your camper at home.

Have fun!

is there an adapter that goes from 30amp to 50amp? cause I know some campgrounds only have 50amp service.

There are a couple of different types.

Walmart's carry them as does Amazon.com.

Any RV parts department should have them.

Dogbone type.

Plug type.
