Hello everyone or as we say in the south Hey Y'all. My wife and I just purchased our first TT it is a 2006 Sandpiper 301 BHD. We have taken our first trip and thoroughly enjoyed it and are looking forward to many more family vacations. I look forward to reading through all the threads and getting as much advice as I can. Welcome to the forum, lots of very good information on here. I have learned many things by reading the different threads. Some of the information will recirculate in a few weeks or months. We started out tent camping, spent a few hours up at the bathhouse using the dryers. We then progressed to a PUP, we had many things to learn that was different from tent camping, 30Amp, 50 Amp, will the cord reach? Would like to have had that spot but I didn't have a spare fresh water hose that would reach. I if get that spot, how much am I going to have to level? We have now progressed up to the next level, travel trailer. Now, do I have enough stuff stored to take care of any emergency. I wonder if I will clear those limbs when I back in? Wow, they sure rubbed those trees when they pulled out. These are just some things that I have thought about and seen. Hope that I am somewhat prepared now. Oh, the big one that got me...awning versus wind and rain. The rain won, that is why I have a new awning now and roller rod. Enjoy your new rig, we love ours, so much easier than having to pack everything up to go on a trip.
