Welcome to the forum, lots of very good information on here. I have learned many things by reading the different threads. Some of the information will recirculate in a few weeks or months. We started out tent camping, spent a few hours up at the bathhouse using the dryers. We then progressed to a PUP, we had many things to learn that was different from tent camping, 30Amp, 50 Amp, will the cord reach? Would like to have had that spot but I didn't have a spare fresh water hose that would reach. I if get that spot, how much am I going to have to level? We have now progressed up to the next level, travel trailer. Now, do I have enough stuff stored to take care of any emergency. I wonder if I will clear those limbs when I back in? Wow, they sure rubbed those trees when they pulled out. These are just some things that I have thought about and seen. Hope that I am somewhat prepared now. Oh, the big one that got me...awning versus wind and rain. The rain won, that is why I have a new awning now and roller rod. Enjoy your new rig, we love ours, so much easier than having to pack everything up to go on a trip.

Newbie too

Hello,

We are new to the RV world also. We just purchased a Class A motorhome. My first question concerns toilet paper (sorry!), is there a certain type that you are supposed to use. Also, any hints on how to use the convection microwave as an oven?

Thanks!

For the toilet paper if it is septic tank safe then you can use it in your MH. A test is to put a piece in a glass of water and if it disolves then it is safe for your vehicle black water tank.

What brand of micro/convection oven? You can look it up online and find the manual.
