Welcome. I am a native of High Point but now live down at High Rock Lake. We love the campground at Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury. We go there several times a year. We REALLY love Four Paws Kingdom Campground in Rutherfordton and take our dog there 5 or 6 times a year. We also love camping at Jordan Lake State Campground, which is near you, and we especially love camping around Asheville. Let us know if you need any recommendations as you begin this great adventure.

We've stayed there in the winter time, and it was very nice. Don't know what it's like in summer, but we know you'll have a great time in the new camper.

Your NEVER to old to learn new things. As the others have said, this is a great place to get all your questions answered - and quickly. I should know, because I've asked LOTS of questions. Welcome!

nina8386, we are in Archdale and have been camping about a year. We like Myrtle Beach Travel Park better than Ocean Lakes - not as nice but less crowded. We also go to Jordan Lake (Poplar Point) some, meeting some friends there.

You might also try Cross Winds family campground home page

This is near Linwood - not much for my 9 year old to do but you folks might like it Nice campground with paved roads, etc.

Take care!
