Welcome!

What camper do you have? What do you pull it with?

We have a 2015 XLR Hyper Lite 29HFS right now we are pulling it with a 2008 Chevy suburban but we are looking at a new 2015 Chevy pick up either a 1500 or 2500 heavy duty to pull it with not sure of the 1500 series will handle it or not so looking at the 2500 heavy duty crew cab

I bought a new Chev 1500 to pull my newer 35' Lacrosse only to trade it in when the wife found a 38' Wildcat 5th wheel. You never know when you need a bigger TV. It cost me a GMC 2500 DuraMax after 8 months.

Or just go ahead and get the 3500 for a couple hundred dollars more and be done with it.

If your young enough and considering on up grades in the future then yes go bigger if not stay with the 2500. It will do a lot in the long run also. I had 3500 for a lot of years but down sized and had no issues with th tt I have bought and besides they are a lot easier to take to town and park when site seeing. Later RJD
