New to camping with camper

Hi all,

We just recently purchase our first camper, A124 Rockwood and can't wait to used it. We are very much clueless about camper/trailer and it was good to find a few tips on this forums.

Thank you all! We just did out first camping trip this week and it was fun/challenging as we didn't know "how to" do many things. I am sure that our nearby campers have a few good laughs! This forum did help us get the hot water started while we were stuck with the wrong information provided by our dealer. Tho, with no wifi and bad cell phone connection... we were walking up and down the hill with our cell phone holding over our head.. just to get connection and read the posts on this forum to get our hot water heater started... took us about two hours of walking around, but it was worth it.

We are "newbies" to this also. Just bought our Flagstaff T12RB and made our first trip to visit one of our sons and family. "Camped" in his driveway, so at least we have the hitching up, towing, and popping up parts figured out. Oh -- and plugging in the power. Next time is the BIG adventure of camping where we don't know anyone... wilderness? First need to know how to operate the stove and hot water heater! All advice welcomed :-)

Towing a Rockwood hardside popup

I'm jumping in before purchasing - we are waiting on delivery of a hardside 128S popup. I would like to ask my fellow Newbies, and any veterans of the A-frame hardside series what you selected for a tow vehicle. We are trying to decide for best mileage, but don't want to shoot ourselves in the foot going too light either. Suggestions? Thanks to all and hope to meet up one day.
