New to CC

Hi fellow RVers , we are from Indiana and have been RVing now for over 30 yrs and love the life . We traded in Our 42' Monaco Motorhome in Oct. 14 for a new CC 38CK and can't wait to start enjoying her . We raised our kids RVing when they were growing up and now working on the grandkids lol . We are weekenders and snow birds in the winter but this year we wanted to wait until we can break in the new U it before heading south . Are there anyone out there that has a CC38CK that has had problems or anything to pass on we should know about .

Welcome to the forum from Ontario. With 30 years of RVing, I am sure you have some stories to pass on.

Thanks for all the welcomes , I did forget to say after trading in the motorhome and buying the new CC I got to shop around and I shopped around for a truck . I haven't bought a new truck sense 2005 and man have prices jumped . I looked and got lucky and found a 2013 F-350 Diesel Lariat with 1013 miles on it and couldn't pass up the price . Same truck new 65k to 70k .i paid 48k and can't wait until she hits 30-40k miles for better milage . I have come to love this sight and reading about people and problems , we have all problems but I love to repair and fix stuff so after 30 yrs and many different rigs the only major problems were we had a Wilderness TT 24ft and it blew apart going down the road within the first year , thank god for duct tape . We didn't have that one very long . 2 worst problem was doing 70 heading south on 75 our driver side slide went out and it was raining heavy , pulled off as far as I could and went to slide in and not thinking it would move . Went out and hand cranked it in got to the next truck pull off and pulled in off to the side called my dealer service manager and he said I bet u didn't turn off the engine and he was right turned off the engine and the slide worked fine problem solve and slide locks were used from that time on , oh and as we sat there in the truck park the wife made lunch and drinks and all was well . Love RVing
