Smile New to Class C Lexington

Hi there -- I usually lurk on forums, but the FR owners seem very helpful and welcoming, so I thought I'd join the fun. I grew up camping every weekend in the summers in a 21 ft. 1969 Terry. About 5 years ago my spouse and I bought a used 26ft, SS Sunline, which we towed behind our 2500 Chevy, and totally enjoyed camping with our 3 dogs. Friends of ours own a camp ground in NC and knew we were hoping to move into a Class C. We struck a deal and they purchased our Sunline as a permanent rental at their camp ground and we bought their 2008 Lexington (30SS), which they had high hopes of using, but seldom were able to get way. So far, we've had it only a month and done only very short trips. In a few weeks, we are going to take it on the road a little longer. We will occassionally be towing a small volvo station wagon on a dolly. We are learning the systems and the difference between a TT and Class C and really love the room to move around when underway (as i am usually working while being chauffeured). I wanted to thank everyone for all the great advice and conversation that can be gained from reading these boards.
