New to Forest River

Hi, I am Sandra and my husband of 50 years is Buddy. We are new to Forest River having just purchased a 2004 Cedar Creek 30 CTKS. We had a 26' Holiday Rambler Alumascape that we traded in on this one and had only used it four times. I guess you could say we are new RVers. Our Holiday Rambler had one super slide in the living room area. This one has three, two in living room area and one in bedroom. Loving that extra space. Buddy is still working full time so traveling is not an option until he finally retires. He promises me that will be in October if we can work out the insurance details (cost, coverage, etc.). I retired in 2010 from a full time law practice and have not regretted it. I do volunteer with my daughter and son-in-law's business, Carquest/Carx Performance as their counter person (selling parts and speciality items). Love being out of the house, but it has turned into a full time job. I am 65 and Buddy is 70, so we are getting to an age where we need to slow down and "smell some roses" for awhile. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Welcome, and it sounds like you have many exciting times ahead! Once your husband takes the plunge, I bet you two never look back! The open road will always be calling!

thanks for the warm welcome We are spending Labor Day weekend at Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort near St. Augustine, FL. Beautiful, but a bit crowded. Not a whole lot of room in our campsite, since our RV has 3 slides and this site was probably more suitable for a 1 or 2 slide unit. The beach is gorgeous. There is a large family pool and an adults only pool. Suitable for family or couples. Xfinitiy cable service, wireless and many more extras included. A little pricer than our usual sites, but well worth the extra

Welcome from Northern California! We really enjoy the extra space that 3 slides give!
