New to Forest River Forum

We have been camping for just over 3 years. We were camping in a 2003 pop-up (loved that thing). Sold it on Sunday (Almost cried when it pulled out of my driveway for the last time). Monday bought a 2013 Rockwood Roo 233S. We have been looking at them and thinking about it for 2 years. This year one of our camping friends bought one and after having 6 adults and 4 kids walking around with plenty of room to spare, we decided to dive in. Very exited about our first campcation. I also bought a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 to pull it with. Doing some general repairs to get it ready for the road.
I am very excited to be apart of this forum, there is a great deal of knowledge and interesting reading hear.

I guess those tears dried up pretty fast!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new camper.

This is the place to be for anyone new to Forest River products or new to RVing.
I see you are from Maryland. Where will your first trip take you?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your 2013 Rockwood Roo 233S. You'll never forget the old memories of your popup and now you can start making new ones.

We are new too. We just brought home a 2012 Flagstaff 425D. We had been tenters before, but are also looking forward to campcations as well. Thanks for this forum its answered a lot of my dumb questions before I could ask them. Look forward to sharing our experiences here.

Our first trip will be to Grey's point in VA. This will be our first time there, so looking forward to the adventure.

Do a shake down night inthe driveway to make sure you know everything you need to know to set it up for a few days.
Practice makes perfect especially with a new unit. You don't want any surprises to ruin your trip.
