New to forum

I have been reading and enjoying the forum since we bought our first RV, a Wildcat TT from a So Cal dealer in Dec. 2017. I am looking for some advice regarding warranty work. We identified some delamination issues in July 2018. After several visits to the dealer it was determined it would need to go back to Forest River for repairs including a list of minor items on warranty. We took the trailer to our local dealer and it was transferred at their direction to the repair facility in Oregon the 1st week of November 2018. Approaching 4 months later we were just advised that it is still number 9 on the list to even be started. Is this a normal timeframe and if not what would the forum members recommend? Thank so much.

I think the West Coast factories don't have the manpower, that the Midwest factories have. They are also smaller.
So that may be the norm for them.

Welcome to the forum.

About 6 years ago we had a 32' V-Lite from FR and found some cracks in the passenger side near the rear slide. It had to be sent back to factory for major repairs. This took almost 5 months total. Then about 4 months later the cracks came back in the very same area and the dealer wanted to sent it back again but we made them take the V-lite back and traded for our current 5th wheel. To me, it does take a long time for any camper to go back to the factory for major repairs. I don't see why this should be the norm but for me it was. I hope that I never have to let my camper go back to the factory again. It is a sad case to be making payment on something that you are unable to use. But that is just me. Hope that your camper comes back soon and that the repairs are done correctly. Happy Camping.
