New to forum / 2016 Sunseeker (Solera) MBS 2400W

Hello Everyone,
I found this forum a few weeks ago and it has been very valuable in my decision making process. We just officially became the owner of a 2016 Sunseeker 2400w (Solera) Mercedes Benz Platform (MBS) Its our first RV and it seems as though it will fit our needs perfectly.

I pick it up in Orlando next week, just a close 800 miles away! Flying down and driving it back. I am Stopping half way north of Atlanta for my first Boondock! (Roswell / Alpharetta) Any tips about delivery inspection through driving it back first time will be appreciated!

Thanks again for all the valuable info. I wouldn't of known about the new W layout if not for this forum and it is perfect for us!

Welcome aboard ! Be sure to verify with a local RV repair shop their willingness to make repairs since you are buying it elsewhere. Biggest problem we have with dealers as many don't want to fix it if they didn't get the sale.

Good evening and welcome from SW Idaho.

During your PDI you need to nitpick, ANY small thing should be repaired needs to be repared BEFORE you hand over the money or leave the lot.

With luck this will help you out in the long run until you find a RV dealer or repair shop to work with locally.

Some folks like to videotape or record during the walk through as the amount of information can be overwhelming.

That's a great idea - and I have heard the manuals aren't great so even more important!

Thanks.
