Question New to Forum and Have a question

We have a 2010 Forest River Sunseeker 3120 (Class C). Every since we have owned (brand new when we bought it) it we have had issues when trying to fill the potable water tank. When filling tank with hose - it kicks back the water.

Has anyone had this issue and if so can someone help us remedy this problem?

Thanks very much.

Sounds like the vent hose is kinked somewhere or plugged. Can you take it off the back of the bracket and blow thru it? If not, you might try hitting it with some compressed air. Chances are, there is a kink in it somewhere between the tank and the fill inlet.

I use a nozzle on the end of mine. I found that it is two flat of slope to allow the flow that I like. It takes a bit longer but I know when I am boondocking the tank is full. I carry the nozzle and use it when filling at remote filling sites.
