New to forum, and need some info

It;s great to see a place like this for owners of a specific brand of vehicle. Always a great place to get hints, tips and info. We bought out 2011 Salem 23FB back in 2011, spanking band new off the lot after years of saving and wishing to move up from our old TT. Finally no more walks to the communal toilets! (My biggest gripe) As always it's been into the shop for a few small warranty repairs and some other things I've been able to correct myself just to save the hassle of hitching up and dragging it all the way to the dealer.

Now for my biggest problem. The Large window over my nook developed hairline cracks around the edges. Noticed them just as we were going out, so I taped them up for safety sake. Made it there, but by time we got home, the window had cracked in several directions and needed a lot of tape and shelf liner to hold it together to get it to the dealer. Why the dealer only wanted to replace the whole window unit at a cost of almost $1000 is another story but recommended I call Speedy Glass to replace just the glass. (Glass not covered under any warranty I have). Speedy was able to do it, but the tech was shocked that it was plate glass and not tempered safety glass. He feels the rest of the unit is the same. I now have hairline cracks on the window over the bed!

I feel this is a safety issue that should be corrected by Forest River. I have contacted my dealer, by e-mail, but no response so far. Looking at the Forest River web site, there is no way for me to contact them, only a dealer login. So ...... does anyone have any contact e-mails or phone #'s for Forest River so I can get on their case about this? In Canada the law is safety glass in all vehicles, so if they have built a unit and sent it here without, it's their dime to make it right. Now starts the fight with a big corporation to correct their mistake. Any help please?
