new to forum, new to forest river

New haven ct
just picked up a 04 sv190t
has some water damage to floor....we going to start pulling out the mush area and replace that area. we got an incredible deal. the rest of camper in mint condition. this was a pre exist problem we knew it getting into it.

gonna do a few weekends a year with the grand kids...and a few just the two of us.

towing it with a 12 silverado 2500 hd...no problems there

but it has a regular cab...solo trips are fine, but when we take the grand boys...we were thinking of towing with a jeep wrangler sport 4door. gotta check the towing capacity...it has 3.21 gears...so i dont think the jeep will handle it...we may have to roll two deep in cars. or just box up the grandkids and stow them in the camper storage area.

browisng the site... you guys got a lot of info, and some great advice and some cool mods....looking forward to some fun campin trips.

Welcome to Forest River Forums! I like your "can-do" attitude.

Welcome to FRF!!

you should check out the Expandable/Hybrid section here, since i believe the 190T is a hybrid. there's even a Surveyor sub-forum there.
