New to hybrids - upgraded from popup

Hello,

My husband and I just bought a 2010 Forest River Flagstaff Shamrock 23ss. Our maiden voyage will be next weekend.

We noticed a leak in the back bed, but everything else looks good, we are thinking it just wasn't closed up properly, went through a big storm last nigh and didn't leak while open.

Excited to find these forums, we cant wait to enjoy the new camper.

Any hints and tips are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

My wife and I had an 2011 Heartland Focus hybrid 26ft and loved it. It was warm even when it rained and was cozy as could be. It always felt like you were 'really' camping but had all the TT comforts. We are retirement age and got tired of crawling over each other during the nite to go to the potty so we traded up to a FR Salem Cruise lite with a 'real' bed that you can walk around. It's wonderful and we look forward to camping in it several times this summer and fall. Hope you enjoy your hybrid. They are definitely an upgrade from the tent trailers.

tara...love your trailer..actually little envious.. my wife and I looked at one for sale last summer and loved it. It had slid outs and 3 tip out beds big mattress perfect. Only it had an $18,000 asking price and I still needed a new truck to pull it. Seeing it was our first travel trailer it was steep...You have a really amazing hybrid I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Welcome to FRF!
We've had our 2007 23SS for nearly 10 years now and still love it.
