New to it all.

Hello ya'll,

The missus and myself have been discussing about going full-time in an RV.
We're a younger couple, with a son and keep coming back to the Berkshire 390BH, to how it seems to sit with family. Anyone have any suggestions on things we should be on the look out for?

Thank you,

Chris n' Kass

I am not a full-timer YET. You have a son, that must go to school. Are you planning on staying in one place during the school year? Motor homes need to be driven, not parked. Are you going to home school? Why a motor home if you aren't going to move very often. Hope you are keeping a vehicle to get groceries with and run to the store, and one you can tow with the motor home.

I am not trying to shoot down your dream, I am just asking questions you need to ask your self, and would help us if you answered them here for us.

No worries.

We plan on home schooling our son. What better way to learn then to actually see this great country that we live in.

Why a motor home if you aren't going to move very often.

We both are used to moving every 6 months to 2 years. We get very bored being in the same place as we both suffer from Wanderlust.

Hope you are keeping a vehicle to get groceries with and run to the store, and one you can tow with the motor home.

We currently have a 2008 Saturn Aura that we plan on keeping.
