New to Rockwood in MS

I'm not new to Rving, but am new to Rockwood and the forum. Have seen some old posts from MS and would like to connect. Live in the Brandon area, but have camped all around the state.

Hello, ddavis. Thanks for reply. I see mtn bike and kayak on your info. I do both. We like floating here in south MS - Bogue Chitto and Black Creek (we don't white water).

That's cool!
No WW here either, class II rapids is/was enough for me
Just kayak local rivers and lakes.
Mtn bike as much as possible, mostly at "The Nox" near Ackerman.
I guess your local trails would be Bonita Lakes in Meridian or The Ridgeland Trails?

I camped once at Roosevelt SP just a few miles east of Brandon.
I had a site near the old gas pump

View just a few feet from the campsite

I wish the campgrounds at Lake Choctaw (The Nox) were open year round
