New to RV life.
Purchased a new Hemisphere GLX 372RD, just spent the last two weeks getting use to living in it. Planning first major outing next week to Indiana, head back through Nebraska and western Texas then return to eastern Texas. Figure a month would be a good test run for us. Newly retired, gotta see what we have been missing out on.

Welcome to the rv lifestyle.
Some people recommend the 3-3-3 rule. Travel 300 miles, get off the road by 3 p.m and stay 3 days at one site.
300 miles is a good goal because if you stop for lunch, you'll probably be averaging 50 mph and 6 hours is a long time driving with an rv.
We don't do the other two but we do try to stop by 5 p.m to avoid traffic and have plenty of daylight to set up. (It's going to get dark earlier as you head south.)
The last one doesn't work for us either, but we do try to build in 'relaxing/not feeling well' and it's raining cats and dogs days.
