Smile New to RV world and Forest River

Well in the poring rain at the Sacramento RV show wife and I decided on our first travel trailer. We have been motorcycle campers for years, but since we are baby boomers wife said enough is enough in regards to the motorcycle.

We decided on the FR Flagstaff 29RKWS and we are hoping we made the right decision. We plan to travel for a month or two at a time and this trailer seems roomy enough that we won't feel cramped.

We are pulling this with a F150 that is rated for 8800# towing so the dealer said we should be close on weight, but ok, we will see.

New to this site. Have owned a rock wood 296HW. My question is why when I take down and stow my popup the carbon monoxide sensor keeps beeping. When setup and plugged in it doesn't beep. What could it be?

Low battery voltage ? If its ok when plugged in it may just be the battery is low and it will cause this.

Welcome and a word of advice. Next time start your own thread. Proper forum etiquette.
Are you plugged in and charging your battery when stowed? A low battery causes my CO alarm to go off.

No, you piggybacked on a thread started by RBPerry.

Sounds like an honest mistake to me. Let's not harp on it.
Anyway, did you see if a low battery caused your issue?

When you store any RV for more than a day or so you have 2 choices. Plug it in, or undo one of the battery terminals. To help with the second choice you can install a battery disconnect switch so you don't have to break out the tools and physically unhook it.
