New To RVing

I'm new to RVing, but I have about 3-4 left in the military before I retire and I'm currently researching our first RV. I look forward to learning from the experienced RVers on the forum.

Welcome tdwayne69. I am sure you are looking toward your retirement. I am a retire since last October and now I can enjoy more times to spend in camping specially during the weekdays when the campgrounds are not too crowded. Tell us what type of rig you are planning to buy?

Welcome! The best advice I can give you is to take your time and do your research (good idea to start on here). There are so many options to choose from. Find out when there are RV shows in your area and go to them! Of course, there will be experts to talk to, but we got the best advice from other RVer's who were at the show just looking like we were. One person told me they liked their bedroom in the back of the camper to avoid the road noise and car lights at night. I hadn't considered that but once I added it to my list of "wants", it helped me narrow down my search considerably. Good Luck! Keep us posted on your progress and keep asking questions!

Hello Capucine,

We're in the early stages of researching the Berkshire 390BH and the Charleston 430BH. Right now we're leaning toward the Charleston.
