Angry New to RVing

Our Sunseeker 3100SS is the first RV for my wife and I.
Any tips on "must haves" would be appeciated.

Although I am embaressed to admit it, within the first hour of delivery I managed to annilate the A/C unit and several vents and skylight on a low branch. So our maiden voyage will be delayed for several weeks while repairs are made!

So, obviously any tips at all would be appreciated !!

Have a friend that burnt his to the ground the first day out. Pull down some low power lines at a private campground. You real have to be careful. I know my Solera is 11'6" tall. When I go to Walmart the sign says 12', always worried the guy measured wrong. LOL

Welcome Branchman!

First off -sorry to read about your mishap.
Second - its happened to more of us than you think

Personally, I've also hit branches and needed repairs. But the worse was taking out the framing of a garage with a roof top carrier in our tent camping days. It was late at night, I was tired, and you can imagine the rest.

It happens. Overhangs, low hanging trees in the camp ground or neighborhood, low wires, old bridge underpasses. These are all things you'll know to watch for. I know it feels bad. Many of us have been there, too.

It's time for you to move on and have fun. It's the beginning of summer, after all!

Have a good one going forward
