New to Rving

Hello everyone. I will be picking up our 2015 Nitro 28TQDL Saturday. My wife and I are totally new to this and will be looking for beginners advice.

Good evening and welcome from SW Idaho.

Spend your first camping trip in the driveway, every time you need something add it to a list, 1) Must have, 2)can do without if need be.

Go to the form Library and print out a PDI list.
Video the PDI.
Ask tons of questions about anything in or around your unit.
DO NOT be afraid to ask them to repeat answers if in doubt.
Check the A/C no matter how cold it is, double check the furnace operation.
Have the water heater bypass valve pointed out.
Make sure the water pump works.
Pop a bag of pop corn or boil a cup of water in the microwave.

Sit around some campfires and listen to other campers talk about their rigs and the mistakes they have made. We have all done something wrong so you can learn from their mistakes. Then you can make a few and share in the stories! Relax and have fun!

Welcome!

Ask that they light the oven at the start of your inspection, make sure it runs for at least 20-30mins before shutting it off.

After camping in your driveway, next trip go across town. We'll find more stuff you forgot and it will be a quick trip back to the house to get it.
