New to RV'ing from Anaheim Ca.

Purchased a 2018 Rockwood 2504s from a dealer in Shipshewana In, saved around 11K if purchased here in southern Calif. My wife and I have had a lot of fun putting our own finishing touches on the trailer and enjoyed our first trip last week. Looking forward to many more..

Congrats & WOW! $11K difference. What was it costing in Calif?

Is it just you and DW? Looks like a great TT for two.

Did you drive to get it or have it delivered?

We were living in NorCal when we drove to Chicago and back, to get our new 2007 Rockwood Roo.

We paid $14.5k for it, while local dealers refused to go lower than $20k.

New in Indiana 19.6K, here was 30K+. Picked it up as my wife's sister lives in northwesten Ohio near Shipshewana. Was quoted $2/mile to deliver.

Thanks, will be in Oshkosh in July for the EAA event, taking a long circuitous route to get there, and back.

Yep
Pretty normal for West Coast dealers to jack up the price, WAY beyond what they paid for shipping costs.

I worked for California State fire service, in Ventura County and Napa County.
Also worked other State depts but 20 of my 36 years were fire/ems service.
Moved out of California as soon as i could.
