New to site old campers!

Just joined site have been pop up / high bred users for 20 years . Main reason for joining is interaction and research . We (2adults) are deciding to either step up to Class C Sunseeker / Forester / or travel trailer ? Please as much feel free to speak up or out!

If you went with a class c would you want to tow a car or a trailer with a motorcycle or some other means of getting around while setup in a CG?

Good point but wife does not like 5 th wheels so as we all know ..... Not an option!

Understood.

A toy hauler perhaps, lots of room when the garage is empty and the back door becomes a netted patio if you want.

Some with built in genset and fuel tank for toys,

Whatever you choose, make sure you see the unit with slides in and out as you will be able to see if it's convenient for you when slides are in. Some units will prevent you using kitchen, bathroom etc when slides are in and if you want to use them at lunch time or whenever when travelling, you have to open slides to access....not convenient for me.

Need to know what you would tow a tt with and how much length you would be comfortable towing to make suggestions. Good idea to visit any local shows or dealers to see what is out there even if you intend to buy used. Good luck. Old Guys (Brian and Joanne)

big differences between choosing a Class C or a TT.

how will you get around if you get the C? are you going to pull a toad? will you pull a trailer with motorcycles?

if you choose a TT, do you have a good and capable tow vehicle? what size range? you will need to use the tow vehicle to get around after you park the TT.

you mention a "high bred", i assume you mean a hybrid travel trailer. what model was it?
asking to get an idea of what you're used to towing.

When we got ready to buy am RV I spent hours on the internet looking at floor plans then went to several dealers and figured out what features we liked and disliked. Left a large lot with tons of trailers and on a whim pulled into a lot with a dozen or so units. We found the one that met all our likes and a couple more. You just need to spend sometime looking and you'll find the one just right. I can recommend the TT over a Class C for the reasons listed above!

Thank you, for all the comments. These are all the questions we are asking ourselves ( Mike / Karen ) we tow a 19 Roo currently but have also towed pontoon boats and speed boats with a Jeep with the large v8. We have a liberty that we could pull behind if we went with Class C.

Don't have a mh but do own a tt, not sure why you would not look a class a, I know if I were to go from a tt to mh that's what I would go for, from what I can see from floor plans they have more room.
