New to the 5th wheel family

We had a 2015 22 ft Keystone Springdale TT. Had a few things we did not like and found we could not live with. Only had this unit 3 trips or 6 weeks. Trade it for a new 2017 Prime Time 29 RS Crusader Lite. Have had this for 2 weeks. Have done a few mods and making it ours. Added back splash around the cook top. Installed dividers in the pass through. Heading out for our first trip this weekend. Plan on doing a lot of weekend trips during the winter months when we don't take our boat out. And during the extreme hot month of the summer. Even with A/C on our boat 120 degrees can be a little much if you want to do more than hide out in the middle of the day. Looking forward to learning and sharing on this forum. Click image for larger version

Congrats! Sweet looking 5th wheel, the one thing that I have find out is how much money you lose when you drive a rv off the lot. We just bought ours Denail 287RE, 2016 and we took it out twice and decided that we should have got a 5th wheel like we started to.

So I look into trading our TT to get into a 5th wheel I would have to come up with some money just to get our payment were we wanted to, so we going to keep our TT for now and trade up later.

Welcome to the 5th wheel family. I must admit I'm a little envious of your weather, we've had snow every day this week in NY. Enjoy the new rig!!

To the both of you that posted pics of your backsplash...are those actual tiles, or are they they stick on sheets you can get from Home Depot?

I purchased them from HomeDepot. The brand is Smart Tile. I decided to go with the peel and stick didn't think regular ceramic tile would stay in place well. Unless you get fairly close its hard to tell it is its no ceramic. IMHO

Yeah...I have heard of others in the forum here who have used the stick on smart tiles from HD...wouldn't do it in my house but I can see it being used in an RV.
