New to the Forest River Forums

Hello!

Just joined the Forest River Forums tonight and I've already learned so much! I've been RV camping since 2005. I've owned an 05' and 07' Coachmen, and in 08' I bought a new Rockwood 8296SS (front kitchen) that I currently have. I've always camped at State Parks, usually within 2 hours of my house because that's how long I can tow my trailer before I get aggravated with traffic, lol. This year however, I decided to park it at a campground for the season in hopes to get more camping in by not having to tow, set-up, close up, repeat! So far I've camped 3 weekends and it's not even Memorial Day! I would greatly appreciate any tips on being a "seasonal" camper. I have a few questions in mind, but it's late and bed time. So I will read on tomorrow and I'm sure I will learn a lot more useful information!

Thanks for reading my post and giving me the opportunity to read yours! Have a Great Night!

Welcome from Wisconsin. We went seasonal 8 years ago. Love the fact that you unpack the cooler, put out the awning, turn on the water, pour a beverage, and you're done. Once DW retires we might get back on the road again. Here's a couple links to seasonal camping threads:
