New to the forum

Hello All!

I am a newbie but find this site a great source of information! My husband and I started trailer camping last year, just to try it out and loved it. We started with a Rockwood (21 ft) and decided we would move up. I was looking at our dealer and found our current trailer- it is a big step up but it was the set up I wanted and the owner had to sell it after one year.

I do have a question- in our current TT (3289SS) we are having the dealer place a wall mount bracket in the bedroom for us but I am not sure how big a TV we can put there. Also, with temp changes and vibration issues should we buy a Furrion model?

Oh, and one more question- our particular model did not have a mount on the outside and the dealer told me they could not put one in. Is this something that would void any warranty as the manufacturer did not install it when it was built?

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. We have never owned a Furrion. We have 3 TVs IN our fifth wheel and 1 that we use outside. They are different brands, one is an RCA, one is an LG , one is a Sceptre and the one we use outside is a Samsung.

Our RV was used and the RCA was in there when we purchased. We added the LG to our bedroom, the Sceptre was added to the bunkroom and the Samsung was used at our house.

We travel anywhere from 1,500 miles to 4,500 miles each year and have never had a problem with any of them from vibrations...no problems of any kind.

I would suggest that you just purchase whatever you can find that is cheap and if it tears up, get another one for what you would pay for the Furrion.

We just ran a cable wire from our inside through the refrigerator vent and plug our outside television up in the receptacle, pull the wire through (we push it back in to travel) and we are set and ready to go outside.

Welcome to the forum...I am just going to guess is that a 32 inch is probably the biggest you can get into your bedroom...I wouldn't go with the Furion any old TV brand will work the best

Welcome from snowy Colorado! We had a larger tv in our hybrid that I did not trust the wall mount location. We would lay it flat on the collapsed dinette during travel. It was a Sanyo and it 3 years never had an issue.
