to the forum and congratulations on the new camper! I can't help you with the satellite question, but if yours is like ours, the "humps" on either side of the bed is where the trailer frame is located. Ours is a "mid-profile" fifth wheel, which means it is not quite as high as a "high profile". They are lower because the floor for the bedroom is between the frame rails. The ones without the "humps" have the floor built over the frame rails. The result is that the overall height of the unit is higher and the basement storage underneath will be larger (in height).
