New to the forum

Hi,

My dear wife and I bought a Rockwood MiniLite, and picked it up last Saturday. We went from the dealer to French Creek State Park, PA, to try things out. We head to the Delmarva Peninsula soon, to have some more fun.

I've been camping over 60 years, the first 50 in various tents, and the last 10 in a pop-up. My wife started nearly 40 years ago, when we married.

We changed from a pop-up, because as time has gone on, more places we camp are in bear country (many of them weren't even 10 years ago). We got sick of loading up everything with a scent, including toothpaste, and moving it to our vehicle.

I'm looking forward to learning from you all.

Don't worry about the new RV, they're just like a pop-up...only longer and the walls are stiffer....and you don't have to raise the roof every time.
