New to the Forum

We just upgraded to a 2015 Rockwood Ultra V 2715vs. Took delivery last Friday and made the tow home-130 miles. No problems, pulled great. Finishing up getting her in shape and organized. Hopefully we can make our shakedown cruise pretty soon. This is our dream trailer with everything we wanted, and should be our last upgrade. Thanks for letting me join the group.

LOL !! I hear ya, and thanks for that vote of confidence !!! Really, though, this is our third trailer. We looked long and hard and knew just what we wanted. We found this one at a dealer in Georgetown, Tx, and fell in love immediately. So we let it follow us home !! Thanks, bigdaddy.

new to this forum, recently purchased a 2014 Sun Seeker SS3100. We sold our last Class C in 1993 - been out of the RV scene since then and now that the kids have grown we've decided to purchased another one. Wow have things changed in the last 20 years. Anyway, made our maiden voyage to Myrtle Beach, SC in April - lousy weather but still fun.

Hi and welcome from northern Arizona! We too made the mistake of going to an rv show in 2013 and fell in love with, and bought, our current trailer. So much for research and brochures! Maybe next time I'll stay away from the rv shows or just go to Hershey, Pa. for the big one and bring the checkbook!

Thank you for the welcome, everybody. We're really looking forward to our first trip in the Ultra V. We were on vacation when we traded up, but we're always ready to head back out as soon as we get back home. The bug bit us bad !! Take care, y'all.

Well, we finally got to make our first trip. We went to Lake Fairfield State Park, which is only about an hour north of us. Had a great time. Getting used to new procedures in setting up and taking down, but not that big of a deal. Temps in the 100s during the day, but the AC did its job and we were comfortable. Used our new PI EMS PT30 protector, and it worked great. If you don't have one for your trailer, you need one. After we got home, I got covers for the two roof vents, the shower skylight and the two door windows to keep the sun and heat out. Makes a big difference. Now we're ready to go out again ASAP. Just a few more things to fine tune. Travel safe, y'all.
