New to the forum and getting ready to move!

Hey everyone! We're in the process of buying our first camper. Came across a lightly used 2017 Grey Wolf 27RR that I couldn't pass up. We're currently in Wichita, KS and will be going back to Washington this coming March. We were stationed there for over 4 years but wanting to see if anyone on here is out there. Also any recommendations for first time long trips? I'm trying to learn as much as I can about maintenance and common issues. Thanks for any input in advance!

from Southern California!

Long trip advice: You want to see Yellowstone if it is the only thing you do. The Utah National Parks are great: Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce and Zion. Monument Valley is a can't miss. The Grand Canyon of course. In Ca, Yosemite is wonderful as are the various redwood parks. Just my thoughts on the majors. YMWV

Where you going to end up in Wa? We are leaving Southern California in June and moving to Spokane. We’ll be living in our trailer till we get situated with jobs.

Naval Base in Silverdale out on the peninsula. I've been out to Spokane and Moses Lake a few times before.

Welcome from Toledo Washington, located about 45minutes south of Olympia on I-5. Recently purchased 2017 crusader 340rst 5er. This year we took 2 weeks and traveled to Zion National park in Utah. Stopped in Sacramento on way down to visit family and on return trip visited Redwoods. Hope you enjoy our weather.

Welcome to all the new Forest River owners. Since you may not be familiar with the owners group you are invited to join in the fun. Go to http://www.forestriverfrog.com and click on "membership" and sign up to be a FROG, its free so don't be reluctant. Then go to "events" and get information about the International Rally and any of the other rallys held throughout the USA and come join us to meet and find new friends that you will know for the rest of your lifetime. Lots of information on the web site so look around.

Welcome from TX, a past flattop sailor and a 26RR owner.
Check the date code on the tires, inspect the wheel bearings & grease. Camp in the driveway or locally to double check everything to be in working condition.
Check the tires ~ again.
