New to the Forum - Hello from Saskatoon, Sk, Canada

Hi all,
I am new to the forum. My husband and I both grew up camping with our families while we were young. We have borrowed my parents RV off & on over the past few years to go camping but now we are in the process of purchasing our own RV to continue this tradition with our family of 3 kiddos (7, 4 & 2 yrs).

I am looking forward to learning lots from all the other RV'ers on the forum!

Hello, and welcome. I had to bring up Saskatoon, Sk, Canada on google maps to see where you are located. (N' of Montana USA) I also saw a picture of Midtown Plaza, while looking.

It is great that you are continuing the tradition of family camping. My kids are way older like late 20's to early 40's but they all love to camp. I hope you find what you need here. We have been to Canada twice (W' of where you are). We made a memorable stop at Fort Steele. It was a lot of fun, the kids were very young at the time. I don't know if Fort Steele is still in existence but if it is you should visit if you haven't already. I would love to here back if you have any knowledge of it.

We are in the San Francisco Bay Area and wander about the western US. I have a Canadian citizen across the Street. A very nice guy. He roots for the Canadian Hockey team and what ever else they compete in.

Take care,
Jim

Glad to hear you are continuing the family traditions.

What kind of trailer are you looking to buy?

Thanks all!
I am looking at purchasing a fifth wheel - the Cedar Creek 36B4 or the Cedar Creek Silverback 35QB4 (virtually the same floor plan) as we love the kids bunk room and all the space.

We are looking to purchase one from down in the U.S.A. Just trying to decide on which model is best for the money and then where to buy from. We would like to have it by mid to late June so we have it For July 1st Long Weekend (Canada Day long weekend). Gotta shop fast as I am running out of time! : )

Wow - Nice floor plan and plenty of room at 38' long. They always say to buy your second trailer first and it sounds like you are taking that to heart

I agree you want to get that ordered soon to allow for delays. Good luck with everything!
