New to the Forum, love my 23ss

We are in our second year of ownership. Have over 40 nights since new. Spend most time exploring beaches in NC and SC. Love my Hybrid. Just returned from December camping on Hunting Island. Have a question regarding the latches that secure the pop outs. They are plastic (be a great place to upgrade to metal no?) Anyway, even though I keep my "rock" covered when not in use, these latches are spotted, discolored or perhaps even mildewed, but no cleaning solution that I have tried will remove these stains. Any advice?

Welcome to the forum. I use a solution of water and bleach and spray or wipe on and let set. Try not to get on other parts on camper. Later RJD

Welcome to the 23SS Club!

it might help if you posted pics.

but we get black specs on the plastic covers that are on the bunk latch handles.
it comes from the driving on the roads.

i use Totally Awesome to clean them.

I take it that you've been lurking for a while. Glad you posted that you love your 23ss. I love my little TT too which has provided 5 years of happy camping.

Totally Awesome can be found at Wal-Mart but even better at 99cents store & Dollar Tree.
