New to the FR Forum

Just found this forum. I keep forgeting that FR bought Palomino so I get to join another forum. Meet more people, what fun!
We just returned from a weekend in Lexington, NC. Visited Richard Childress Winery. If you like wine and are in the area, this is a must see. The DW and our friends enjoyed the wine, it cost me 6 bottles on the way out.
Personally, I liked the old True Value hardware store downtown. We spent 3 hours in there, my kind of sight seeing!
We have a Sabre 31RKTS I pull with my wife's 2500 RAM 6.7 Cummins; her truck, my trailer. Seems fair, eh?
Just breaking in the Sabre, 3rd time out with it. Minor problems, but it gives me something to piddle with. Great trailer, plenty of room, nice kitchen, comfortable, even a full size porcelin toilet (at my point in life, a selling point).
Get to do the winterizing bit, again, this week. Time to cover her up and leave her for the cold, the trailer, not my wife.
Hope to see y'all at the CG next season.

Welcome amxpress. You were in my neighborhood, then. I live on the south side of Lexington in the county for the time being. The city council has plans to do another "Forced Involuntary Annexation" within the next year and we very well may be swallowed into the city limits in the near future. North Carolina has some really medieval laws, but I don't want to move. Forgive the rambling. Where did you park while you were here? And do come back.

We stayed at the High Rock CG. A beautiful place. We plan on returning next year and do some fishing, or in my case, kill some worms.
