Lightbulb New to the Owners Block ;-)

Grew up RVing... and finally found a slightly used toy hauler at a good price. Only prob is that it seems that I bought it from a sheisty dealer that has a good rep. Now I'm looking for manuals and questions answered... so welcome to the forum ! 😄
Have a 2016 Cherokee Grey Wolf 26RR Toy Hauler... and happy about it.
Having a few issues that the dealer won't reply to, and need manuals (even though I emailed the Cherokee rep along with RV sales rep and had no response) to figure some things out. I just asked for manuals for appliances, etc.
(FYI... ONCE THE PAYMENT IS MADE... NOBODY CARES)

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase Gray Wolf. The camper should have come with a packet containing all the manuals. I would look around in the camper especially in Microwave, stove or cupboards in the kitchen area. The dealer may still have it also. Later RJD

Not many manuals when we bought ours new. The ones we do have are very vague. But the 26RR is a great camper and we really enjoy it.

Hello and welcome from Arkansas.
I am feared you may be disappointed in the manuals once you get them. There really isn't much there. You can go to FR by model/series and download the RV manual and google the appliances model numbers and print if needed.

Welcome from Huntsville Alabama - like the others have said, the "Manuals" are pretty useless - better you ask specific questions here on the forum

Your best source is on-line.
you will find most all the manuals there.
there is a forest river app for android with info. search forest river in the app store.

Nearly all RV owners manuals are generic, no matter the manufacturer.
No model-specific info at all.
Grey Wolf has the best solution.

Thank you! Generator???

Any recommendations on what size of generator that would be minimal, yet run the entire camper without too much excess?
Y'all been much help.

Need more info from you.

Do you want to run the a/c? If so, what size is it?
Do you want cheap or quiet? Can't have both.
Will you be using it in a campground or just for boondocking?

Furnace without being plugged in

I want to run the heater/furnace without being connected to power as much as a can at certain points.
Disclaimer... I understand that the battery is limited just by itself, so I'm trying to determine an AUTO feature to prevent that.
1. The manuals don't describe much into running them.
2. I have three options... AC, Furnace & Fan.
3. The only selection that provides an Auto feature is fan. Should I just assume that the others automatically run automatically to,reach that temp level, bc they don't seem that they do... they just keep running. Considering that I don't want to just kill the battery, which is just what it does. Is that all of the capability?
4. I have a generator, but don't want to have to run it unless a necessity bc it's loud.

I'm primarily trying to determine how efficient I can run solely heat at night with gas, and not kill the battery... bc I can run a generator during the day.
