Question New to this, all help appreciated

I have never been on one of these sites and do not know all the rules. Read what I could, too old to remember most of what I read. Main reason I joined is to learn more about the 1998 Rockwood 12' tent camper I acquired and to find some needed parts. I got it mainly for the grand kids to play in and have sleepovers. I live in Boerne, near San Antonio, Tx. Retired, working part time due to events beyond my control. Currently I need a door handle/latch for this camper. If anyone has one or ideas where I can locate one at a reasonable price, please let me know: PM ME
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
Your unit is old enough that you might not get many replies but if you could post up some pictures someone may be able to help you better.

Good luck!

Welcome aboard, and enjoy the forum.

A short word of caution. Posting email addresses and phone numbers is "unsafe" on open forums. SPAM and harassing phone calls are certainly possible. The Private Message system will forward any inquiries right to the email address you used to set up your membership, so that risk is not necessary.

Welcome Dinkydau,

Let us know if you need any help with the forum. There are good tutorials here for some of the basics if you are unfamiliar with forum life - Forums 101 - posting, accounts, basics.

You might find it helpful to also post your request for the door handle in the tent campers forum -- Tent Campers and Pop Ups - Forest River Forums.

Many there might be able to help you rig up something and they might not see this post in the welcome area.

Good luck and good to have you aboard!

most hardware items are used throughout the RV industry and not brand-specific, such as your latch.
you should be able to order it through any RV parts store or check Ebay.

Welcome home Brother Dinkydau, your ID made me laugh at its meaning. Hope you find the parts that you are looking for.
