New toy hauler owners

Hello everyone,
Just wondering what can be done to make our ride smoother. We are pulling a 351THSS Puma with a GMC 3500 4X4 Dully with the 5th wheal attachment and it is such a rough ride, I am Leary to put our Harleys in theback… any suggestions?
thanks,
Kdvannos

Putting weight in the back will help. The 5th wheel THs are designed with weight in the back in mind. Wheels are more centered to the camper. 2 Harleys = 1500 plus pounds in the back taking that weight off of the king pin. I also have air bags on my truck.

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully by adding you cycles it will improve the ride. With today's roads many of us experience ruff riding at least I know I do. Later RJD

Thanks for the response!!! We haven't had a chance to go off with the bikes yet. By the way any pointers on loading them and stabilizing them?

One thing I would look at is the tie down points, are they just screwed to the floor or are they bolted thru and reinforced underneath.

Pick up some E Track - we hauled 2 big bikes (Ultra Classic and Classic trike) with the E Track and it worked great. Also, make sure you get the front wheel chocks too if the TH didn't come with them.
