We always run our fridge while traveling. We've never had an issue.

Always fill those those tanks up before dumping. Sometimes we even ride home with them full, to help break everything up and then dump when we get home.

Another good way to break it up once you are ready to head for home is, after dumping the full black tank, fill it up with 5 gls of water and add all of your ice cubes into the toilet. Then drive home. The ice cubes help to knock crud off the sides and the monitor. I've got a 30gl BW tank so you might need more than 5gls.

I've mentioned this in previous posts. Also, a lot of tunnels and bridges require you to turn off all propane before going over or through them (ie;Chesapeke Bay Bridge and Tunnel syatem).
